	The Sandpoint community is an exceptional place to live and raise a family. We are located on the shores of beautiful Lake Pend Oreille and surrounded by the magnificent Selkirk and Cabinet Mountain ranges. Schweitzer Mountain, a world-class destination ski resort , is a 30 minute drive from the city center. Our geography and four-season climate assures a variety of activities for outdoor lovers, from downhill and cross-country skiing to swimming, boating, camping, hiking, and more. With a population of only 6000 Sandpoint nevertheless enjoys a rich cultural life, including an internationally acclaimed two week music festival every summer. Many musicians, theater groups, and artisans call Sandpoint their home. Our school building is located on a sunny site just minutes from down town and next to a spacious park and playground with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.
