Wooden Boat Festival Schedule

Thursday, July 12
7 p.m. – Free showing of "Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Deadman’s Chest" sponsored by the Downtown Sandpoint Business Association in the Panida Theater. Tickets only available from any business in the Cedar Street Bridge Market Place starting Tuesday, July 10.

Friday, July 13
10 a.m. to 6 p.m. – Launch and placement of boats and registration. Assistance available.
7 p.m. – Private "Welcome Aboard" party
Dusk – Fireworks show at City Beach.

Saturday, July 14
9 a.m. – Registration and Ship Store opens.
9:30 a.m. – Skippers meeting.

7 a.m. to 11 a.m. – Pancake Breakfast at Sandpoint Community Hall hosted by Bonner County Historical Society. Open to the public.
10 a.m. to 4 p.m. – Nationally sanctioned, 5th Annual Inland Empire Chapter of the Antique & Classic Boat Society Wooden Boat Show, with Model Boat Demos at 1 p.m. and a Boat Parade on Sand Creek at 3 p.m. Judging begins at 10:30 a.m. Skippers are requested to standby their boats if being judged.
3 p.m. – Ship Store closes.
5:30 p.m. – Silent Auction begins.
6:30 p.m. – Awards Banquet.

Sunday, July 15
8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. – Breakfast Cruise to Bottle Bay.
10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. – Day two of the 5th Annual Inland Empire Chapter of the Antique & Classic Boat Society Wooden Boat Show, with Model Boat Demos at 11 a.m.
4 p.m. to 6 p.m. – Boat retrieval.
