About the Master Gardener Program

Bonner County Master Gardeners receive instruction in a wide variety of horticultural topics taught by University of Idaho educators, horticultural professionals, and local experts. Master Gardeners can then apply this information with others in the community through a broad array of volunteer opportunities.

As a Master Gardener, not only will you receive this inital education, but be given the opportunity to continue your gardening education for as long as you wish. Also, you'll meet people in your community who share your gardening interests and have a lot of fun.

Contact Us!

For more information about joining the Master Gardener program, please contact us at the Bonner County Extension Office at the County Fair Grounds at 4205 North Boyer, or give us a call at 208-263-8511.

We look forward to meeting you!

The Plant Clinic

The Plant Clinic is staffed by Master Gardeners from 9am – 3pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays April 22nd through September 30th. Master gardeners help members of the community identify plants and insects and help them find solutions to garden problems.
